DALLAS, TX — Local husband Max Boyer was reportedly welcomed home Tuesday by his wife, Tiffany, who proudly announced that she had earned $184.50 that afternoon by successfully returning items to Target.
According to sources, the earnings were generated after Tiffany spent two hours driving to Target, standing in the customer service line, and returning a decorative throw pillow, a scented candle, and three dresses she had purchased four days earlier.
"I made almost $200 today, babe!" Tiffany told her husband. "It was a lot of work, but a pretty solid payday, huh? You're not the only breadwinner around here, haha."
Max, who had spent the day working eight hours at an engineering firm to earn currency, sat in quiet contemplation as he digested the financial windfall.
"So… we are down $25 and two hours of gas?" Max asked carefully.
"No, silly," Tiffany clarified. "We basically got a free $184. If you think about it, I'm practically funding our next vacation."
At publishing time, Tiffany had informed her husband that she had used the proceeds to help cover the cost of a $300 bedding set.
