U.S. — The results of a national survey revealed that nearly 90% of moviegoers were curious about what happened to the guy who made Aliens and Terminator 2, and then apparently just completely stopped making movies for some reason.

"What happened to that guy?" said movie fan Sam Gates. "Hey, Siri, who was that guy?"

According to sources, Siri did not know.

Aliens and Terminator 2, widely considered some of the best films ever made, were believed to have been made by a true master of cinema, but whoever made them seemed to have just stopped making movies at all one day. "Maybe he wanted to go out with a bang, or maybe he died," mused Hollywood historian Cynthia Banks. "It's just one of Hollywood's great mysteries. And it's too bad because those movies are awesome. It's a shame he never made any more, whoever he was."

Experts said that the world may never know the answer to the question of what happened to that great film director.

"Seemed like he had a promising career ahead of him, whoever he was," said big-time movie producer Harvey Mammon. "If I were him, I'd have stuck with it. He could've been huge."

Official records identified the director of both films as a man named James Cameron, but experts believe this was an alias. Googling the name only returned search results about some guy who made Titanic and Avatar, which couldn't possibly be the same director.

At publishing time, a new theory surfaced that the director of Aliens and Terminator 2 may have gone into hiding with George Lucas, who completed the Star Wars trilogy in 1983 and never made another Star Wars film, ever.
