PITTSBURGH, PA - Local man Cecil Hayes passed away Thursday at age 67, finally finding his best life now after losing a long and difficult struggle with cancer, relatives confirmed.

"Cecil is finally at peace with Jesus and, if he could talk to us now, would tell us not to weep for him, since he is more happy and fulfilled in the presence of the Lord than we are even capable of being," said Hayes's brother, who went on to describe Hayes as a man who was quick to sacrifice worldly pleasures for the sake of the gospel and his neighbor, and always maintained his trust in God throughout his suffering.

"With his new, eternal Fresh Start, he is now experiencing firsthand The Power of I Am. He has Become a Better Him and is finally Thinking Better, Living Better. There is no more suffering, toil, or pain - from now on Every Day is a Friday for him."

"Forever," he added.
