WASHINGTON, D.C. — After scandalous photos surfaced online of her husband Bryon, former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem reportedly asked him if there was anything he'd like to get off his chest.
Noem's marriage had been under heavy public scrutiny over the past year, even before the shocking photos of her husband came to light, leading her to confront him to find out if there was anything he should tell her.
"It could be a big weight off your shoulders," Noem was heard telling her husband, Bryon. "I know things have been difficult lately, and the media has been raking us over the coals, but we're still married. I've heard these photos are going viral. Is there something about this that you need to get off your chest? Unload a burden you've been secretly carrying around? Anything?"
Sources close to Noem revealed that her husband refused to open up about the scandal, preferring instead to keep everything close to his chest for the time being. "He's embarrassed, obviously," one insider said under the condition of anonymity. "He feels like he's really made a boob of himself in the eyes of the public. He's afraid that he'll be the reason if Trump decides to can Kristi again. He's also wondering if he'll end up getting bounced. It's sad."
At publishing time, Noem had reportedly made it clear to her husband that the entire family would be by his side to offer him some much-needed support.
