WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — One of the nation's loudest progressive voices issued a strong defense on his own behalf this week, as commentator Hasan Piker said anyone who tries to twist his words as being "antisemitic" is a dirty, lying Jew.
The stern statement came in his latest video posted to social media, as Piker vehemently denied all allegations of spreading racism and hatred, and instead blamed any claims that he was antisemitic on lies propagated by filthy Jews.
"Only a disgusting Jew would call me antisemitic," Piker said. "I have a lot of ideas. They're all completely popular and mainstream. Like burning the Constitution. Or saying the United States deserved 9/11. These are not extreme positions. The only reason I have a reputation for being a radical anti-Israel extremist is because of those evil, nasty Jews spreading lies about me being antisemitic."
When commenters questioned the type of rhetoric he was using, Piker grew even more defensive. "You don't like what I'm saying? You're obviously Jewish," he said. "The only possible explanation for anyone taking issue with me saying Republicans should be killed is that they're Zionist propagandists who should be rooted out of society. Hating Jews doesn't make me an antisemite, and anyone who says otherwise is a no-good, rotten Jew. End of story."
At publishing time, Piker had said that his previous statements in favor of Israel being wiped off the face of the Earth should not be misconstrued as promoting violence against Jews.
