DES MOINES, IA - The Grinch reportedly arrived at a local residence to finish up his busy week of Christmas thievery, only to discover super-efficient local mother Desiree Jensen had already taken down every last decoration in the house.

The green anti-Christmas villain often steals decorations and presents all the way through the New Year, as most normal families still have their Christmas decorations up through then. However, this time, the Grinch was disappointed to find his job had been done for him, as Jensen had hauled away the family's Christmas tree the morning of December 25 and left it by the curb, along with all the other things in the house that brought Christmas cheer.

"I mean, I was all ready to stuff their Christmas tree in my sack and cackle as I drove away in my dog-driven sleigh, but apparently she threw the tree away, like, while the family was still opening presents. I hear she had a great Christmas morning and then immediately got to work ripping every ornament, wreath, and piece of tinsel out of the house," the Grinch told reporters. "If this keeps up, I'm gonna be out of a job."
