U.S. — Democrats have begun wondering if perhaps they should stop saying the sorts of things that assassins engrave on shell casings for when they murder people.
In the wake of yet another shooter engraving liberal messages on ammunition, the Democratic Party considered if maybe that was a bad sign.
"Wow, people keep writing things I say on bullets they use to kill people. Should I... should I not be saying those things?" pondered Democratic Senator Chris Murphy. "Could that, just maybe, not be good? It seems a tad concerning."
Though somewhat uneasy about seeing their own quotes engraved on shell casings used by murderers, the Democratic Party is hesitant to rush to conclusions. "Just because we say certain people need to die, and that they will kill everyone if they aren't stopped, and call them fascists, and assassins kill those particular people, and write 'Die Fascist' on the ammunition, I'm not so sure there's a connection," said Cenk Uygur. "It feels like a stretch."
At publishing time, the Democrats had decided they had done enough introspection about their ideology leading to violence and instead shared doctored photos of the assassin to promote more violence against conservatives.
