U.S. — Several companies across the U.S. posting special Pride Month versions of their logos on social media were apparently unaware that Donald Trump is currently president.

According to sources, executives at a number of major companies had been in such denial over Trump's presidency that they had forgotten that he existed at all and thought that they still had to make a performative branding sacrifice for Pride Month.

"You mean, we could just sell our products to everyone instead of singling out people based on who they like to have intercourse with?" Coca-Cola CEO Tom Coke said. "Now you tell us!"

Though fewer and fewer companies symbolically bent the knee to the LGBT+ community this year, a number of businesses were obviously unaware that Trump was president and that woke is dead.

"You don't need to be gay anymore," President Trump said in a post on Truth Social. "I'm looking at you, MLB. Homosexuals, WHO I LOVE, and they love me, don't even watch baseball. It's not gay enough. They only watch football. Because of the tight pants, from what I'm told. Everyone's always telling me, those football players keep slapping each other's rear ends, it's just too gay. A lot of people are saying it."

A majority of Pride Month posts were forced to block comments from users who kept asking their favorite businesses if they even knew Trump was president.

"Why should I buy printer ink from you if you can't even remember Trump is president, HP?" asked one user. "Rainbows are illegal under Trump."

At publishing time, several of the companies that chose to use Pride Month branding had forecasted a drop in revenue for June.
