NEW YORK, NY — Interviews conducted with employees of CBS News revealed that Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss was facing internal backlash over allegations that she had attempted to commit actual journalism.
Whistleblowers reported that the crisis began when Weiss reviewed an upcoming news segment and asked for verifiable sources and opposing viewpoints before airing it.
"We were completely blindsided," an anonymous producer said. "We've spent decades reading pre-approved talking points fed to us by the Democrats. Now we have to cross-examine facts? It feels unsafe."
