TOLEDO, OH — Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton has released a powerful public service announcement to show the dangers of binge drinking.
Acton recorded the PSA on a stage in Toledo, where she demonstrated the effects that massive alcohol consumption can have on the human body.
"It will make you slur the, the slurred forgetful words, the wrote ones that -- WOO! TOLEDO!" yelled Acton, showing how alcohol can cause severe mood swings. "Do you feel the, um, do you energy? Haha. How about that Indian guy?"
According to researchers at the Ohio Division of Liquor Control, the PSA has already been incredibly effective. Within hours, the PSA had been released across social media, prompting millions to reconsider their behavior toward alcohol.
"Alcohol can make you do that?? No thanks," said college student Boone Rogers after viewing the ad. "Please, don't make me watch any more. I'll never drink again."
At publishing time, Acton's aides had begged her to please, please not film any more PSAs before Tuesday.
