BUFFALO, NY — During a recent podcast appearance with Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift asked the Kansas City Chiefs tight end how he had done in the World Series last night.
Insiders said the global pop superstar was anxious to hear whether Kelce had had a good game, or match, or inning, or whatever.
"You're a power forward or something for the New York Blue Jays, right?" she reportedly asked. "Did you win the World Series thingie? That was last night, right? For the NBA or NHL? Or the NAACP? I wish I could've been there! Did you score a basket?"
"She wants to let him know that she's paying close attention," one insider said. "She's always in his corner. Which is ironic to say, because that's a boxing reference, and there was one week last season when she obviously thought he was a professional boxer. She asked how his fight with Evander Holyfield went. It was sweet."
At publishing time, Swift had reportedly asked Kelce if he wanted to invite all of his teammates from that lacrosse squad or whatever team he plays for in some sport or something to come to their wedding.
