DALLAS,TX - After an apparent, sudden exposure to a topically arranged sermon, preacher and teacher Dr. Steven Lawson reportedly began convulsing and breaking out in hives, and was immediately rushed to the hospital by paramedics Tuesday, sources confirmed.

The incident reportedly occurred as Lawson listened to a John MacArthur sermon in an open YouTube tab, without knowing the streaming service was set to automatically select and play another video upon its conclusion.

When the MacArthur sermon came to a close and the app subsequently autoplayed a message titled "The Mess in the Mirror" from another popular pastor, Lawson didn't realize what was happening until it was too late.

Lawson was able to signal for help as he fell to the ground, and an ambulance arrived just in time.

"We're lucky he didn't make it all the way to that sermon's third point, which was, 'Step out of your comfort zone,'" a doctor at Mission Community Hospital told reporters. "I don't think he would have made it."

Lawson is expected to make a full recovery in 2 - 3 weeks after being treated with a steady stream of expository preaching.
