ANAHEIM, CA — A moment of awkwardness arose over the weekend, as Disneyland staff had to politely inform JD Vance that the park was closing and he would have to get off Ariel's Undersea Adventure now.

The Vice President and his family enjoyed a day at the famous theme park, eating delicious food, posing for pictures with costumed characters, and going on rides until late into the night, when park employees were forced to tell him that he had to leave the Little Mermaid-themed ride.

"Aw, gee, do I have to?" Vance reportedly asked after park staff told him he had to leave. "Usha said I could ride as many rides as I wanted as long as I finished my dinner. Can I just ride Ariel's Undersea Adventure like five more times? Please? Can I?"

The employee speaking with Vance remained calm and polite as he restated the need for the vice president to disembark the attraction and begin moving toward the exit. "Yes, sir, but you've already ridden it 12 times in a row," the staff member reportedly said. "We allowed you to ride again after closing time, but your family is already outside the park waiting for you, sir. Please, Mr. Vice President. You can come back tomorrow."

A dejected Vance was later seen walking toward the park exit with his head hanging. "I don't want to come back tomorrow, I want to ride it again now," witnesses heard him whining.

At publishing time, Vance was said to have been happy while exiting the park after getting a giant turkey leg and a Mickey lollipop on his way out.
