U.S. — A new poll from NBC News shows definitively that Trump will win the 2024 presidential election unless Harris wins.
"Based on the results of our highly accurate poll, you can see that Donald Trump will most certainly win the election unless, of course, Kamala Harris wins," said NBC News anchor Lester Holt. "And you can take that to the bank."
He then threw over to Steve Krimski, NBC's resident graph expert, who proceeded to point at several blue and red colored numbers to explain that Trump is definitely going to win unless Kamala Harris does. "As you can see from these numbers... Kamala is ahead in these three battleground states. But Trump is ahead in these other three battleground states," he said while pointing at the screen while also holding an iPad for some reason. "I'm pretty sure."
Several other pollsters confirmed the claim, saying all their data confirm that one of the two candidates will definitely win the election for sure.
Statistician Nate Silver diverged from NBC's take on the new poll, however, arguing that Kamala Harris, not Trump, is a sure thing, unless it is Trump who wins instead. "It's one of them," he said. "Trust me."
At publishing time, Fox News had called Arizona for Kamala Harris prior to votes being tabulated.
