WASHINGTON, D.C. — Liberals across the nation were horrified as Trump turned the Lincoln Memorial's Reflecting Pool into the largest water amusement park east of the Mississippi.
A nonprofit organization called Restore Our Historical Landmarks has asked a Federal judge to force the Trump administration to demolish the giant water park that had been erected overnight where the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool once stood. They argued that when Trump built Trump's Tremendous Tsunami Throneland he ran afoul of several federal laws which require the administration to complete an environmental impact study and also give the public 90 days of notice for any proposal to make changes to important protected historical sites on public land.
Trump's Tremendous Tsunami Throneland features the Covfefe Cove, the Bigly Wet Slides, the Mar-a-Lagoon wave pools, and a very long and lazy River called the Joe Biden Presidential Experience Simulator.
A large promotional banner hung outside the park entrance featuring Trump's face with a presidential speech bubble proclaiming to "MAKE AMERICA WET AGAIN".
"I am horrified," said one visitor. "The reflecting pool was completely incorporated into Covfefe Cove. There's even one slide that has no water. It's just Diet Coke."
"It's all so terribly tacky and expensive. The water slides were alright though."
At publishing time, Democrats were considering drawing up articles of impeachment against Trump over the new water park but only after the heat wave died down.
