The Christian life isn't easy. As believers, we're not offered a life of comfort and luxury.
Right from the beginning, Jesus promised us hardship and toil, telling us we must die to ourselves if we are to follow Him.
Just like it says in the Bible: if anyone would follow Christ, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and also buy his wife a $200,000 Lambo. Each of these elements is an important part of the Christian life. First, denial: we must say no to fleshly desires. Second, taking up the cross: we must be prepared to die for the faith. And finally, purchasing extravagant, luxurious SUVs: ministers of the gospel have to be ready to drop a few hundred K if we're really serious about following Jesus.
Servants of Jesus must be prepared for hardship, including the persecution that will follow when we buy extravagant cars for ourselves and our family members. People will say you're a prosperity gospel preacher. People will say you're enriching yourself instead of dying to yourself. People will say all kinds of mean things about you. But just as Jesus suffered, so His disciples will suffer when everyone makes fun of you for buying your wife a sweet ride.
Remember, when Christ calls a man, He bids him come and make enough money to buy his wife a Lamborghini.
