While the Qatrai government's giving President Donald Trump a luxurious, state-of-the-art jet has grabbed headlines, it's actually quite common for foreign governments to send things as special gifts to build relations and curry favor.

Mexico — A giant wooden horse: It sounds like there are people inside of it speaking Spanish, but that's probably nothing.

Nigeria — A potentially lucrative letter from an exiled prince who needs help: He would reportedly be willing to pay handsomely for any assistance.
India — A herd of sacred cows: Delicious.
Turkey — Turkey: The bird, not the country.
Lebanon — A pallet of brand-new pagers: The Lebanese were apparently afraid to use them.
California — 1 million refugees: A truly generous gift from America's closest foreign neighbor.
