U.S. — To get ahead of the expected surge of migrants seeking refuge and freedom in the safety of America, 49 states banded together this week to enact legislation banning immigrants from California.
Citing an emerging security threat from Californians swarming across their borders, the other 49 states of the U.S. agreed to pass emergency measures to prevent any further invasion from the masses of refugees.
"We've got to do whatever it takes to keep the Californians out," said Texas Governor Greg Abbott. "Other freedom-loving states simply cannot allow themselves to be overrun by the godless hordes of immigrants flooding out of California. The safety and security of the United States is vital, which is why we have all agreed to ban Californians from entering the rest of the country."
Governors of other states concurred that preventing California migrants from spreading across the country is an issue of grave importance. "We've seen what Californians do when they travel into the United States. Look at what they're doing to Idaho, for example," said Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe. "As lovers of our great nation, we must stand together against these dangerous waves of Californians."
The 49 states formed an emergency coalition to enact strict immigration laws, specifically from California, which includes provisions to potentially build a wall around Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona to keep Californians in their own state.
At publishing time, the 49 governors had issued a joint request to the Trump administration to have ICE refocus its effort son rounding up Californians to send them back to their home state.
