MIDDLETON, DE - According to awestruck sources close to local man Matthew Ryder, the modern-day good Samaritan selflessly changed his profile picture overlay to help those less fortunate than himself Monday morning.
After hearing that November was Homeless Awareness Month, Ryder sacrificially added a "November is Homelessness Awareness Month" frame to his profile picture, according to multiple sources.
"I'm always ready to help the less fortunate, no matter the cost, as long as the cost is only a few clicks to change my Facebook pic," Ryder told reporters as they clamored for an interview with the altruist.
"It's literally the least I can do. And of course, it lets everyone know how virtuous I am at the same time, which is nice," he added.
At publishing time, Ryder had given a homeless man a coupon good for $1 off a combo meal at Wendy's, pausing to take a picture of the interaction in order to post it on Instagram, sources confirmed.
