LAS VEGAS, NV - Sources in the Conor McGregor camp confirmed Monday that the champion MMA fighter and 0-1 professional boxer was nursing his head wounds with a giant stack of money as he recovered from the big "Money Fight" against undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather.
"Conor is resting up, rehydrating, and holding large sums of cold, hard cash up to his various lacerations and bruises," a spokesperson for McGregor told reporters. "Nothing can bring the life back into a fighter after a tough loss than tens of millions of dollars applied to the head injuries he suffers in the ring."
McGregor also reportedly shed some tears in the days following the big fight, but was able to wipe them away with a large stack of $100 bills kept by a glass of water on his nightstand.
