Chris Tomlin Finally Wears Out His Computer's Copy, Paste Shortcut Keys

ATLANTA, GA - Popular worship singer-songwriter Chris Tomlin announced Tuesday he was forced to replace the laptop on which he writes most of his worship songs, as the 'Ctrl,' 'C,' and 'V' keys had finally worn out due to overuse of the helpful copy and paste shortcuts.

The incident reportedly occurred as Tomlin was working on a remixed version of "How Great Is Our God" to play on his Worship Night in America tour. As Tomlin put the finishing touches on the song and copy-pasted the thirtieth chorus, the keys finally gave way.

"They just kind of caved in on themselves all at once," Tomlin said. "They were hanging on for dear life for a while. I'm just happy I got so much use out of this thing before it went out."

"When Clippy popped up and showed me how to use Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V to copy and paste my lyrics rather than having to type the same line dozens of times some years back, it revolutionized my songwriting," he continued. "But yeah, I might have gone a little overboard."

Tomlin further stated this is the thirteenth laptop he has had this happen to, and that he had been using this one for a record two weeks when the keys became unresponsive.
