WRIGHTWOOD HILLS, OH - According to the tech ministry at Faith Community Church, a recent guest preacher is still not sure if the microphone is on.

"Hey guys, it's great to be here! I'm so excited to be able to share with you - " his sermon began on Sunday morning, before he was cut off by a tech guy waving him down from the sound booth, gesturing that his microphone wasn't turned on.

"What? My shirt's unbuttoned? Oh - the mic? Is this thing on? Hello? Test. Test."

According to those in the audience, the agonizing and awkward seconds stretched into minutes as the tech guys scrambled around, trying to figure out what was wrong with the microphone. The tech guys later claimed that the guest preacher had failed to flip the switch on his mic on, even though he was specifically instructed to do so, to which he responded, "Don't worry, I got this."

Finally, the mic came to life, causing deafening feedback to reverberate throughout the sanctuary. "Whoa! Guess the Holy Spirit's here in power!" the preacher joked, getting scattered chuckles throughout the building.

The preacher delivered his message at the top of his lungs, as he was reportedly still not sure if the microphone was on.
